Stormblue Band first founded during an upcoming Christmas vacation when Drummer Mark Abrenica and Vocals Jingle Ypanto from Moalboal National High School decided to form a band with Mark's younger brother Marnel Abrenica and then Marnel told his close friend and classmate Juppe Baguioso also to join.
On the other day, they all first meet up in an old music room in Da-o Moalboal Cebu.On their first day they didn't even know what will be their positions in the group because it is their first time in a band and in that time there are only few unknown bands in moalboal,So after they enter the music room they stop and think and then they just decided to put Marnel on Bass, Mark on Drums, Juppe on Lead guitars and Jingle on Vocals.and then they start playing the song they only hear and played individually and after a half day of practice they decided to look for a rhythm guitarist and the other day Jingle brought up his cousin Ronilo Legara to join in and after 3 sessions of practice the owner of the music room amazed because they got better immediately for only 3 session of practice and after that they became close friends and began to know each other more.
They had their first performance on stage during Valentines Day on a JS Prom held on a School.
On early 2011,Jingle and Ronilo left the band for some reasons.
after a week they found there current guitarist John Zuke Jr and their current vocalist Tonton Yosores
and the entry of the two in the band makes them strong and ready for any gig.
In 2012,Tonton temporarily departed from the band to work in other country,
the band is in a four piece band now and looking forward to record all new materials.
